A quick note on timing. Most shows run 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The only exception is JB and the Big Circle Rider on Sunday, June 21, which starts a little later at 2:30 PM and plays until 5:30 PM.

Saturday, June 6: Select Vibez II opens the month with oldies through today’s top pop hits, an easy crowd-pleaser to kick off your weekend by the water.

Sunday, June 7: Jimbo Ross and the Bodacious Band bring rockin’ Chicago blues, funk, soul, and New Orleans Mardi Gras zydeco. Expect a lively, danceable afternoon.

Saturday, June 13: U.S. 99 plays vintage and classic rock and roll, blues, surf, rockabilly, vintage country, and R&B for fans of the classic sound.

Sunday, June 14: Trevan covers classics from every era, with a specialty in 90s and 2000s hits.

Saturday, June 20: Chazzy Green the Funky Sax Man is back after playing the Mother’s Day show in May. His soulful blend of pop, R&B, and funky jazz on saxophone is a Village regular.

Sunday, June 21: JB and the Big Circle Rider close out the third weekend with country rock, playing the later 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM slot.

Saturday, June 27: Josh Rogan brings coastal rock and roll, a fitting sound for an afternoon on the harbor.

Sunday, June 28: Upstream wraps up June with reggae, calypso, soca, and steel drum music to send you into July.

Where is Fisherman’s Village and how do you get there?

Fisherman’s Village is at 13723 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292, right on the edge of the harbor. On-site parking is available for a small fee, and the lot tends to fill up on event afternoons, so arriving a little early is smart. If you would rather skip the drive, the Marina del Rey WaterBus runs on weekends through the summer and stops near the Village.

 

What should you bring to the shows?

A low-back beach chair is the move. Seating around the waterfront is open and casual, so most folks bring their own setup. Pack sunscreen, a light layer for when the marina breeze picks up in the late afternoon, and a camera for the views. Food and drinks are easy to grab on site, and you are welcome to enjoy them picnic style anywhere around the Village.
